Mason Law dominated Saturday’s 12-lap Sprint Race at Donington Park, with the Spirit Moto Corsa rider taking British GP2 victory by twelve seconds in horrendous conditions.
Starting from Pole Position in class and fifth overall, Mason ran right with the leading Supersport bikes throughout and eventually finished a close second overall to Lee Johnston.
Mason has looked strong in both wet and dry conditions this weekend, but in the near-monsoon conditions for the race just finishing was a challenge.
However, he put in a faultless performance and rightly earned another 25 points in the British GP2 standings.
Unfortunately, Jamie Perrin was unable to start the race after falling in the treacherous conditions on the way to the grid.
Jamie had earlier qualified second in class in the dry, completing a Spirit Moto Corsa 1-2, and would’ve been set for a strong result had conditions not deteriorated.

The final day of action here at Donington gets underway with Warm Up at 10:06 before the Feature Race 15:25.
